The attractive cultural landscapes combined with the traditional hospitality, are able to offer pleasant experiences for tourists who are looking for relaxation and recreation in a calm setting. Rural tourism plays an important role in the diversification of the local tourist offer and stimulates economic growth by increasing the viability of underdeveloped regions and by improving the living standards of local populations.

Agro tourism which fulfils favourable conditions to be practiced in various localities from Satu Mare County, especially in Oas Land and Codru Zone (villages that preserves an original ethnographic background, traditional architecture (dwellings, churches and wooden gates), popular craftsmanship (pottery, wools, popular costumes, etc.), traditional feasts with a great resonance and popularity, together with the presence of some aesthetical resources with a high degree of attractiveness).
